Covid-19 Policy:
At Instate our community wellbeing & safety is our main priority. We’ve always been obsessive about the cleanliness and hygiene practices of our gym. We fortunately have a unique model of small group training which allows us to control the numbers through the door and thus allow us to be much safer and distanced than most other facilities.

General
Strict entrance and exit policy.
Please arrive early and walk in the entrance to the gym on time.
sessions will be 50 mins so we can fog before the next group.

No bags
Training
There will be up to 16 members + 1 coach for classes.
There will be up to 12 members + 2 coaches for PT.
Please bring full water bottle.
all sessions booked via app.
For use of the gym outside sessions, please book ‘open gym’.
Facilities
No Changing rooms available.
Cafe purchases through vending machine.
Health Declaration:
All staff and members to complete a declaration that they are fit and well and without any symptoms of Covid-19 before entering the gym.
Delivering a safe and healthy environment
We’re already in good place and much more proactive than many other leisure facilities. However, the seriousness of the Coronavirus situation deserves new levels of stringency. Our stance is to initiate a strict plan of initiatives to ensure we protect and reassure our members that we are leading the way for gyms reopening.
Ongoing practices
- Our model ensure training is only ever carried out in small groups.
- Every member has a minimum 2m gap between the next client.
- Each member has sole use of their equipment for each session.
- Our Pod System creates natural training separation within the gym.
- All equipment is cleaned with sanitiser after each session.
- We limit sessions to 50 minutes to allow for 10 minutes of cleaning.
New initiatives
- We have completely redecorated meaning every inch of the facility had be cleaned and spruced up.
- Social distancing operations in action throughout the gym.
- We have committed to a professional flooring clean every 30 days.
- We will thoroughly sanitise the entire space every month.
- We’ve installed over 10 hygiene stations in the gym.
- Every conditioning station is positioned at least 3 metres apart.
- We have built an outdoor extension to the cafe which will allow more open space and serve as an outdoor training space when needed.
- Every Instate team member is fully briefed on correct practices regarding our covid-19 action plan.
Instate Hygiene Non Negotiables For All Users:
- Use hand sanitiser on arrival.
- Adhere to social distancing at all times.
- Do not share any equipment.
- Wipe down all equipment once used.
- We love ya but please no high fives or hugs.
- Confirmed Case:
If the event occurs in which a member or staff member is confirmed with Covid-19 we will activate our confirmed case procedure.
Confirmed Case Procedure:
- Instate Fitness will get alerted by the authorities that a member or staff member who had visited has tested positive.
- We provide the authorities the names and contact details of all customers who were in the club at the time (and 4 hours after the individual left.
- Instate Fitness is entirely deep cleaned and sanitised according to Government guidance on cleaning in non-healthcare settings – once complete we will re-opens.
-Staff and customers informed, and told that if they have any symptoms to stay at home & follow government guidance.
